Obtaining Optimal Health & Increased Immunity

Updated: May 1, 2020

What are factors that contribute to health and immunity? Genetics, pre-existing conditions, current level of immunity, and lifestyle.

Genetic mutations will put some to an immune disadvantage which means this population has to work harder to be at optimal health levels. A healthy lifestyle needs to be a daily practice with intentional choices from food intake to use of cleaning products. Key factors in health are comprised of a clean diet, well rounded exercise program, appropriate BMI, psychological wellness, proper sleep & hydration, limiting situational/toxic exposure and an appropriate supplementation regiment.

Pre-existing medical conditions play a huge part in your relative state of immunity. If you are on medications for that condition you may have more considerations and contraindications to a fully healthy immune system. Some people experience hyper-immunity by over producing mast cells to fight the condition which causes more issues in the long run. Our specific immune levels change constantly from moment to moment. Finding a snapshot with and IgE, IgG, IgM and other tests can tell a trained expert where your immune system is at that particular moment in time. Retests after protocols are equally as important to tell if progress or changes are being made within the body.

The importance of prevention, maintaining BMI/healthy weight, increasing immunity and getting all of your nutrients to optimal levels is especially vital during flu season/viral outbreaks. Having a healthy lifestyle by getting exercise, eating non-processed foods, sleeping, keeping stress (physical, mental & emotional) to a well managed level, staying hydrated and keeping your elimination pathways are the key!
