DJ Cat_Cat conjures up everything from Ecstatic Dance to EDM/House/Drum&Bass/Acid Jazz/Funk/Dubstep/Reggae/Electro-swing/Remixed Classics/World Music and every hertz in between to invoke an internal resonance of ecstasy, movement, and expansion of consciousness. With a young love of dance and club music, a player of African drums and all things percussion, and a family lineage of professional musicians, DJ Cat_Cat offers a variety of genres that thoughtfully woven together set to create an adventurous auditory and energetic healing journey to inspire connection to self and the world around. Each playlist, mixed set, and live music integration session are an outpouring of emotion, creativity and are specific curated to capture the mood, theme, event, or festival.

VENTURA ECSTATIC DANCE

Ventura Ecstatic Dance was created (during covid) out of a community desire for a non-judgmental gathering and need for space so dancers, DJ's, and healers of all kinds can collectively build intention while offering service as a donation in Ventura County.

Ecstatic dance is a freeform movement practice that allows individuals to express themselves through dance, often leading to a safe state of expression, joy, ecstasy and connection with others.

Ventura Ecstatic Dance mission is to collaborate with like minded wonderful people who bring variety, diversity, creativity, passion, and expression of love to our community. We have teamed up with sound healers, yogis, fire dancers, film makers, hula hoopers, tea masters, business owners, non-profits, and other holistic leaders in our community to bring service and share all of our gifts with each other making it such a special group!
